Coronation Power to host Truthan Barton Wind Farm Exhibition

13 October 2008

Coronation Power is holding a public exhibition in St Erme Village Hall, Truro, to share its proposals for a wind farm in the area with local residents and other stakeholder groups. The exhibition will focus on the company’s proposals for a wind farm at Truthan Barton.

The exhibitions are designed to provide the local community with information about the company’s proposals together with details about the potential benefits to the area should the scheme be granted planning approval by the planning authority. Members of the Coronation Power team will be on hand to answer questions and to discuss issues relating to wind farms and the positive impact they have on local communities, in helping to combat climate change and improve national energy security.

"Coronation Power regards the exhibition as an important part of our commitment to share our plans with the community and other stakeholders and to listen to their views," said Vickram Mirchandani, Coronation Power’s Managing Director. "We hope that people come along with an open mind to find out more about what our proposal might involve. We are at an early stage of development and we are keen to hear what people think".

Date: Thursday 23rd October and Friday 24th October
Times: 9:30am – 7pm (both days)
